FAIRTRANS MARINE TRADING AND FORWARDING CO.

Fairtrans Marine, Trading & Forwarding S.A.E. is one of Egypt’s leading specialized shipping companies, established in 1979 with its head office in Port Said and a branch in Suez to attend vessels transiting the Suez Canal and calling at both ports. Its other branches are in Cairo, 6th of October, Alexandria and Damietta.

Over the years, the company has expanded its activities. When the Egyptian government allowed private-sector participation in shipping agency activities in 1998, Fairtrans was among the pioneers to meet the requirements and obtain a shipping agency licence. The company has also developed its freight forwarding and logistics services as an IATA cargo agent and a FIATA and EIFFA member. It has been a BIMCO member since 1986 and has held ISO 9001/2000 certification from SGS since 2007. Around one hundred skilled employees work across its branches, covering the company’s activities.

Our services combine Suez Canal transit attendance, liner and port agency, multimodal freight forwarding, warehousing and distribution. Specialist capabilities include RoRo handling for vehicles, heavy machinery and oversized cargo, as well as urgent air freight coordination. Vessel owners and operators also benefit from crew-change coordination, bunkering supervision and operational support.
